Beautiful antique map of Galicia (Galicia) by J. Hondius. Shows the historical kingdom of Galicia on the Atlantic coast with the present-day provinces of A Coruña, Lugo, Ourense and Pontevedra in north-west Spain. With Santiago de Compostela, Pontevedra, Vigo, Ourense and the Rio Miño.
Decorated with two cartouches and two sailing ships. This example comes from the French edition of the Mercator-Hondius Atlas printed in 1633.
