Beautiful antique map of Andalusia (Andalucia) by J. Hondius. Shows the southern Spanish province of Andalusia along the Atlantic coast from Faro via Huelva, Cádiz to Gibraltar and along the Mediterranean coast with Marbella, Málaga to Almeria. In the interior, Seville, Cordoba, Jaen and Granada.
Decorated with three cartouches, a sailing ship and a sea monster. This example comes from the French edition of the Mercator-Hondius Atlas printed in 1633.
