Antique Maps by William Hooker (1846)

William Hooker was an American geographer, surveyor, engraver and publisher based in New York City. He was active during the first half of the 19th century. Hooker lists himself as Instrument Maker & Chart Seller to the U.S. Navy. He was responsible for several important map and plan focused mainly on the New York area.
