Antique Maps by Christian Adrichem (*1533 - 1585)

Christian Adrichem, a Catholic priest and theological writer, was born February 13, 1533 in Delft and died June 20, 1585 in Cologne. His main work was the Theatrum Terrae Sanctae et Biblicarum Historiarum (Cologne, 1590) a description of Palestine, of the antiquities of Jerusalem, and a chronology from Adam until the death of John the Apostle.
