Beautiful antique map of Catalonia (Catalunya) by J. Hondius. Showing the Catalan Mediterranean coast from the Ebro to France. With Tarragona, Lleida, Girona, Barcelona in the centre.
Decorated with two cartouches, a sailing ship, two sea monsters and a compass rose. This example comes from the French edition of the Mercator-Hondius Atlas printed in 1633.
