A exceptionally rare and important separately issued plan of Belgrade by Nicolas de Fer. Showing the Siege of the Turks in 1696, 1697 and 1698 with deployment of troops. With one mileage scale cartouche, a compass rose and sailing ship on Danube river. We could not locate a copy of this plan in libraries world wide.

Nicolas de Fer was born in 1646 and was an important French geographer and cartographer of the late 17th Century. He issued more than 600 separate maps and was appointed Geographer of the King. He died in 1720.
