With two lable on spine, rubbed, some damage at lower corners.

Cartographer

Georges-Louis Leclerc de Buffon was born 1707 in Montbard. He was responsible for the King's Gardens in Paris. He also published several books related to animals and insects. He died 1788 in Paris.
