During this time he created views of Christianshavn, etchings of King Christian VI. and 7 large views of Copenhagen. He produced works for the Den Danske Vitruvius, a richly illustrated work on Danish monumental buildings, and worked for the Royal Collection. Later he worked in Germany, among others for the landgrave Hessen-Darmstadt and in the Palatinate. In 1759 he was mentioned as Hofkupfertecher in Mannheim.
