Description

A large and rare separately issued battle plan of Liège by le Rouge. Showing the events of October 11th 1746 at the Battle of Rocoux where the French were victorious over an allied Austrian, British, Hanoverian and Dutch army outside Liège during War of the Austrian Succession. The top banner showing a panoramic view of the battle and a coat-of-arms an the left.

We only could locate two examples of this print in libraries: One in the Bibliothèque nationale de France, another one in the Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal in Paris.
