A large and rare separately issued battle plan of Oudenaarde in East Flanders by le Rouge. Showing one of the key battles in the War of the Spanish Succession in 1708, known as the Battle of Oudenaarde, which was fought in the vicinity of the city. Oudenaarde slumbered as a provincial town under the Habsburg regime. With one mileage scale in the text cartouche and a detailed legend.
