About the Author/ Artist: Samuel Middiman: This gentleman is an engraver of eminence, in the department of landscape. His productions, which are numerous, are remarkable for their spirit and fidelity. In 1811, he published, in two quarto volumes, an elegant work, in titled "Picturesque Views and Antiquities of Great Britain."
